OK, took the second option and created a /usr/home directory. Moved all
the files under /home/~/xcdroasttemp to /usr/home/cdcopyfiles. How do I
set up the symlink in my/home directory, so that any additions to
/home/~/xcdroasttemp will not wind up there, but go to
/usr/home/cdcopyfiles? Once I have the syntax, I'll set up the rest.

Could it be: "ln -s /home/~/xcdroasttemp /usr/home/cdcopyfiles"?
